Spring Valley Team Pro® products are more efficient when applied before soil temperatures approach 52ºF for 3 consecutive days, the signal for crabgrass seeds to germinate.  Crabgrass germination is temperature dependent-the warmer the spring, the sooner crabgrass germinates.  Water after 3 days, if it has not rained.  In addition, sandy, dry soils will tend to reach crabgrass germination sooner than wet, clay soils.
