GALLERY® and GALLERY® + TEAM® provide the ultimate for complete control of pre-emerge grassy and broadleaf weeds. GALLERY® (isoxaben) is a unique herbicide that offers season-long protection against a wide range of broadleaf weed invasion, including dandelions, clover, chickweed, plantain, knotweed, and many more. GALLERY® can be applied to established cool-and warm-seasoned turfgrasses and is also approved for application over established ornamental beds. When combined with TEAM®, GALLERY® provides excellent broadleaf control with the added benefit of pre-emerge grassy weed control, all in a single application. For best results, GALLERY® should be applied to weed-free turf or ornamental beds at the rate of 1-lb. A.I./acre and, when combined with TEAM®, should provide 1-lb. GALLERY® and 3-lb. TEAM® per acre. Optimum weed control performance requires a minimum of one half inch of overhead irrigation or rainfall within 5 days of application is required to activate GALLERY® and TEAM®.

CAVALCADE® (prodiamine) is a pre-emergent herbicide that is economical, offers a low-dose application rate, and is highly effective against controlling over 30 grassy and broadleaf weeds including crabgrass, goosegrass, and Poa annua. CAVALCADE® is non-staining, and offers a wide range of application flexibility. A single application is all that is needed for season-long control, with many turfgrass professionals choosing to apply CAVALCADE® in the fall after soil temperatures retreat below 50ºF. CAVALCADE® has the lowest water solubility and volatility and stays within the top one half inch of soil. For best results, apply CAVALCADE® at the minimum rate of .5-lb. A.I. per acre for control up to 12 weeks, 1-lb. A.I. per acre for up to 20 week control, and 1.5-lb. A.I. per acre for up to 32 week control. The components of CAVALCADE® are not effective unless activated by a minimum .5 inch rainfall or overhead irrigation.

DIMENSION® (dithiopyr) provides season-long pre-emergence post control of the toughest grasses as well as controlling more small-seeded annual broadleaf weeds than any other herbicide. DIMENSION® can be used as a pre-emergent before crabgrass germination, or as a post-emerge application up to 3 leaf tillering. When it comes to weed prevention on golf courses, DIMENSION® provides a wide range of application options (spring, summer, and fall) and controls Poa annua along with 25 other tough grasses and broadleaf weeds. For best results, apply DIMENSION® at the minimum rate of .125-.50 lb. A.I. in northern climates (provides approximately 90-180 day control), and .25-.50-lb. A.I. per acre in southern climates (for 120-180 day control), not to exceed a total of 1.5-lbs. A.I. per acre per year. The components in DIMENSION® are not effective unless activated by a minimum .5 inch rainfall or overhead irrigation.

Team Pro® is a combination of two economical, yet effective DNA herbicides for pre-emerge grassy weed control: benefin, known as Balan®, and trifluralin, known as Treflan®. Together, Balan® and Treflan® compliment each other’s physical characteristics. Balan® contributes quick activity and excellent crabgrass control, while Treflan® adds long residual, plus excellent crabgrass and some broadleaf weed prevention (including oxalis and spurge). As soon as weed seeds germinate, TEAM PRO® stops cell division, keeping them from ever reaching the surface. For best results, apply TEAM PRO® at a 2-lb. A.I. rate before weed germination for 12-16 week control. In regions of excess weed pressure, single-rate applications of TEAM PRO® at a rate of 3-lbs A.I., or double-rate applications of 1.5-lb. A.I. followed by 1.5-lb. A.I. (6 weeks after initial application) may be necessary.

Spring Valley offers a wide range of options for the pre-emergent control of grassy weeds that provides a clear particle distribution and performance advantage over other standard-sized (SGN 240) granules. Spring Valley’s smaller SGN 200 granules deliver over 60% more granules to the target area resulting in superior active ingredient coverage with minimal misses and gaps in the weed control barrier. For best results, apply before weed germination.
