2026:

Turf Care Supply, LLC Acquisition

In February of 2026, Spring Valley USA acquired the blending and packaging assets of Turf Care Supply, LLC. Turf Care Supply’s roots trace back to 1974, previously known as LESCO Inc., a pioneer fertilizer manufacturer in the professional green industry. LESCO Inc., was recognized for its longstanding commitment to exceptional service and quality products. After the rebrand to Turf Care Supply in 2005, the company continued its legacy of developing strong partnerships and evolved to manufacturing the leading professional and consumer brands in the market. With facilities located in Ohio (corporate headquarters), Massachusetts, Florida, Tennessee, and Oklahoma, the company supported customers across the professional turf, golf, and consumer lawn care markets. This strong geographic presence, combined with extensive industry expertise and valued partnerships, now strengthens Spring Valley’s expanding national platform.

2024:

Bonus Crop Fertilizer (BCF) Acquisition

In June 2024, BCF Products became part of the Spring Valley family, further expanding the company’s footprint across the southern United States. BCF Products represents the combined legacy of Bay City Fertilizer, established in 1973, and Bonus Crop Fertilizer, founded in 1982. Operating from its manufacturing facility located northeast of Dallas, Texas, BCF delivers prompt, reliable service and high-quality products that are essential to successful turf, ornamental, and consumer fertilizer programs.

Sunniland Acquisition

In July 2024, Sunniland Fertilizer joined the Spring Valley family, strengthening the organization’s presence throughout Florida and the southeastern United States. Sunniland’s history began in 1884 as Chase & Company in Sanford, Florida, serving local citrus growers with agricultural supplies and crop insurance. The Great Freeze of 1894–1895 devastated Florida’s citrus industry, causing widespread economic hardship as growers faced bankruptcy and demand for supplies sharply declined. Despite these challenges, Sunniland persevered by maintaining a retail operation dedicated to supporting the agricultural community. Today, the Longwood, Florida, location continues that tradition, having a strong presence in the southeast region while also supporting Spring Valley’s national initiatives.

2022:

Spring Valley USA Becomes An Affiliate of INTEROCEANIC Corporation (IOC)

In 2022, Spring Valley USA (Vogel Seed & Fertilizer) becomes an affiliate of INTEROCEANIC Corporation. Founded more than 60 years ago in Jackson, Wisconsin, Spring Valley has built a reputation as an industry leader, consistently providing premium-quality fertilizers and ice melt products tailored to the needs of the professional turf and landscape market. Originally established in 1960 as Vogel Seed & Fertilizer, the company transitioned to the Spring Valley USA name in 1980. Shortly after, Spring Valley focused on a strategy of growth including its capabilities and reach, leading to the addition of its Fostoria, Ohio, facility.
