Our company started on a family farm in Jackson, WI, and has grown into a leading manufacturer of fertilizer and ice melter, serving customers throughout the US and internationally! We are GROWING and are looking for more outstanding people to join the Spring Valley family! Positions available include bagging/stacker, forklift operator, wheel loader operator, and mixer operator!
What you'd do:
• Stack 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Running and monitoring machines (screener, mixer, bag sealer, robotic palletizer, etc!)
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings
• Operating wheel loader/front end loader to move bulk material
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)
Successful team members will have:
• Priority for safety and following established safety programs. Safety is our #1 focus at Spring Valley!
• Outstanding attendance - your team (and your paycheck) depend on you!
• Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
• Previous forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to train if you are eager to learn!
• Ability to comfortably lift 50lbs.
• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
• Pass a post-offer drug screen
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours, 2:15pm-12:45am Monday-Thursday
Pay & Perks:
• $18-$20 base pay depending on experience
• Additional $1.00 per hour shift premium for working 2nd shift
• Team Based Production Bonus (paid bi-weekly, and averages $3-$4 per hour!)
